About

Chamber legacy, Regional future.

The Sugar Land Chamber of Commerce is the Fort Bend Regional Partnership, formerly the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.

Why We Rebranded

From the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce

Announced February 3, 2026, and introduced at the annual gala.

Formerly known as the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, our organization has evolved into the Fort Bend Regional Partnership to better reflect the scope, scale, and regional impact of our work. As a 5-Star Accredited Chamber of Commerce, our foundation remains firmly rooted in the trusted mission of a leading business chamber: advocating for business, strengthening economic opportunity, fostering connections, and supporting a vibrant local economy across Fort Bend County.

As Fort Bend County continues to grow as one of the most dynamic regions in Texas, our regional chamber has expanded its leadership role to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving business environment. Today, the Fort Bend Regional Partnership builds upon the legacy and credibility of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce while advancing a strategic, regional approach to economic development, public policy leadership, workforce alignment, and infrastructure planning.

While our name has evolved, our role as the region’s leading chamber of commerce organization, and our commitment to serving the business community, remains stronger than ever. We continue to serve as the primary voice of business in Fort Bend County, bringing together leaders from industry, government, education, and healthcare to strengthen regional competitiveness and long-term economic vitality.

This evolution ensures that our chamber leadership not only supports today’s business community but also positions Fort Bend County for sustained growth and success well into the future.

Our work has outgrown the traditional definition of a chamber. This rebrand allows us to tell a more accurate story about who we are, what we do, and the impact we are building for the next generation of Fort Bend businesses and residents.

Tariq Zafar, incoming Chairman of the Fort Bend Regional Partnership

The rebrand aligns the organization’s identity with the work it is already doing across several key pillars including business growth and innovation; policy advocacy; education and workforce alliance; infrastructure and development; and healthcare and resilience.

The Fort Bend Regional Partnership will continue its existing programming, advocacy efforts, and member services without interruption.
